Title - The Standoff Limited edition prints for sale from £50 Original painting - Sold This brightly coloured painting of pheasants in the snow shows two cock pheasants looking as if they are about to decide who has the right of way. The colourful plumage of the two birds, and the strong blue shadows falling across the snow made this winter scene irresistible. Back in the studio, I decided to leave out any detail, painting much by memory, and using strong colours and brushwork to capture the feel of the scene I had witnessed. |
