I had bought these toy cowboy figures solely with the intention
of using them as props in a painting, but it was hard not to
play with them and my wife says that I spent far too much time
'researching' a composition for this small oil painting.
Paintings of toys such as these cowboys and indians are not
usual subjects for me,
but I think I might 'research' more ideas.
