An orange tip butterfly holds the attention of the lovely little
black white and ginger tri colour cat in this oil painting.
Usually I would have expected the cat to pounce, even
if just a half hearted attempt in play.

Today however, the cat must have been in a much more
reflective mood. He just watched the butterfly as it
moved from flower to flower, then closed his eyes and
went to sleep in the sun.
