When they were young, my daughters always loved a donkey
ride along the beach. It has always been part of a traditional
day trip to the sea
side, and a line of donkeys walking along
the sand by the waters edge are always great subjects
for paintings of beach
donkeys.
Most of us have treasured memories of such family holidays,
and paintings of children on the beach like this always remind
me of those happy
times.
