I watched as the pair, walking side by side along the waters edge, stopped together and just stared out to a distant horizon. They seemed lost in thought, until the laughter and noise from nearby children playing snapped them out of their hypnotic gaze. Splashing through the shallow water, the girl and the Westie suddenly ran of, playing 'chase' along the beach. |
