This painting of horses ploughing a field shows farm work that would have once been a common sight. Years ago it was a
regular part of my grandfathers work on his Yorkshire farm.

The tractor has long since taken over the horse drawn plough,
but there are still teams of working horses to be seen, more
often at agricultural shows around the country.
