These young cattle come right up to the hedge when I walk
along the adjacent lane. Always inquisitive, each one jostled
for position to get a better look at any new neighbours.

Just at that moment, a pheasant emerged from the bottom of
the hedge - startled, it took flight and was gone, with the cattle quickly following! In this painting of cattle I included the pheasant
and the title 'Nosey Neighbours' seemed a natural choice.
