I couldn't resist doing this painting
of fishing boats beached
upon the shore, the shapes and colours of the boats with the
weathered textures of the old fishing huts were a joy
to paint!
This painting has encouraged me to
look more often for such scenes, showing the beach as a place
of work, and not only
for the pleasure of holiday makers.
